The Tangier Room is a warm cocoon in the heart of the Fès medina. Hand-polished ochre tadelakt walls, a cedar ceiling with painted beams and an openwork metal mandala light give off a soft glow in the evening. A double bed dressed in white cotton, an engraved brass tea tray, a rattan armchair and a gilt-framed mirror make it a peaceful retreat after a day exploring the alleys. The private bathroom, fully clad in blue-and-white Fès zellige, has a large walk-in rain shower. A room for one or two guests, homemade Moroccan breakfast included.
